Keeping track of your various social media accounts and identities can be tricky. Fortunately there is a new web application, NameChk.com that will let you check where your username is registered.

While I don’t recommend overloading on social media profiles as a primary online reputation management strategy, it is definitely good to secure your personal or company name for future use and brand control purposes.

  • I agree, launching social profiles is not the end all be all for reputation management but it does aid in quick clean up.
